Anchor & East

The anchor is a symbol of hope and steadiness. We look East for new beginnings and a sense of forward motion. Anchor & East is a name that I have lived in and around, and finally settled on, as I move forward with the next chapter of my work.

For more than a decade, I have worked across education, communications, graphic design, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. I’ve held different roles, but I was always circling the same problem. Individuals and organizations almost always know what they mean, what they’re building, why it matters, and who it’s for. The hard part is making that meaning land the same way for someone standing on the outside. Bridging the gap between the internal and external is where I’ve spent most of my career, and it’s the work I’m best at.

I have helped individuals and organizations create, clarify, and connect. My experience spans engagement, branding, fundraising, communications, event strategy, volunteer development, and organizational growth. My focus is always on creating meaningful, sustainable support. When stories are told with the care they deserve, people respond.

This is the work I want to keep doing – not handing organizations a generic playbook, but sitting with what makes them different and helping that difference actually reach people. If you are looking for a collaborative partner who asks good questions, pushes for clarity, and genuinely invests in getting your story right – I’d love to start the conversation.
